5 Best & 5 Worst WWE Moments Of The Week (Oct 17-20 2016)

Well this week’s been average.

Welcome to 5 Best & 5 Worst WWE Moments Of The Week, where we look at the best and worst of WWE this week. To be considered for the list, the moment has to either be a match, segment, announcement, or a big part of a show (e.g. a return).

So, neither Raw or Smackdown was particularly great this week. Surprisingly, NXT had a pretty average show too. But, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t some tasty goodness to watch. It does mean that there was some crap to sit through though. Anyway, let’s get on with it.

Worst Moments

5. Bayley vs. Dana Brooke

I’m not sure what was supposed to happen, but Dana pinning Bayley the way she did didn’t look right. There was clearly some sort of botch. Dana Brooke botching? Yeah I know right, so rare.

Anyway, so the match kicks off and it’s pretty lame but it’s not the worst thing ever. All of the sudden, Brooke hits Bayley’s head off of the ring post, pulls her in the ring and covers her for the 1, 2, 3. It really didn’t look like this was the way the match was supposed to end. Bayley was in an awkward covering position, Dana took a while to pin her and it seemed like Bayley was trying to reach the ropes. The crowd were shocked that it ended so quickly, and that Bayley lost clean to Dana. Many have said that Dana pulled Bayley too far away from the ropes, and that could be true.

WWE posted a video on their YouTube channel showing Bayley recovering from the ring post incident, which looks like they are trying to cover up Dana’s error. Still, a dull match with a confusing ending lands it on this week’s list.
