205 Live Premiers Tonight

WWE’s Cruiserweights finally have their chance to shine outside of a competitive environment on “205 Live”, which premieres tonight at 10/9 c live on the WWE Network.

The recently-crowned Cruiserweight champion is The Brian Kendrick, who retained the title after a DQ loss to Kalisto, who was attacked mid-match by Baron Corbin.

A majority of the competitors from the Cruiserweight Classic are appearing on 205 Live, including Jack Gallagher, former cruiserweight champion TJ Perkins, Noam Dar, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, and of course, the reigning champion, The Brian Kendrick. Also, NXT competitor Austin Aries has been announced to be there, though his role in the show is unknown at this time.

WWE has announced that there will be a tournament similar to the Cruiserweight Classic, but featuring some of the best women wrestlers from around the globe, but WWE hasn’t spoken yet about any women-specific WWE Network show, but do you think that this type of show will be created after the Women’s Tournament has concluded? Is so, will it be as marketable as a cruiserweight-specific show?
