With Shinsuke Nakamura winning back the NXT Championship from Samoa Joe it seems that their rivalry is coming to a close. Maybe Joe will be making his main roster debut sooner rather than later? With Joe now out of title picture it’s time to crown a new #1 Contender. Could that person be the most GLORIOUS superstar in NXT? That’s right, I’m talking about the one and only Bobby Roode.

Roode made his NXT television debut back in August and has yet to be in title contention. But it’s safe to say that Roode’s time may be sooner than you think. I predict that once the Nakamura/Joe chapter is finally finished, Bobby Roode will be next in line for the championship. It seems inevitable that Roode will hold the NXT Championship since he has been champion everywhere he has wrestled. He, much like AJ Styles, was one of the biggest superstars not signed with WWE before his NXT debut. It’s not a question “If” he will hold the title. A better question would be “When” will he become champion.

What do you think 434 fans? Would you like to see Bobby Roode hold the NXT Championship? When do you think he will capture the gold? Let me know in the comments!
