WWE Hall Of Fame Booker T announced that he will run for the Mayor Of Houston in the year 2020.

On a radio show called “Heated Conversations” Booker T announced his plans for his future. He stated that he was going to run for mayor in his hometown of Houston, Texas.

“You heard it, 2020 I’m preparing,” Booker said during his radio show. “I’m preparing myself to run for mayor of the city.”

During the show, he said that he got the idea from former Smackdown Live Tag Team Champion, Rhyno and that he sought out advice from the ECW alumni. Rhyno, real name Terrence Gerin shared that Booker T is over-qualified for the job and would make an excellent politician.

Rhyno had this to say about Booker:

“You are over qualified qualified for the job,” Gerin said. “Wrestling not only prepares you for life but it prepares you for positions like that because you feel the emotion from the people you know what they want, you’ve built yourself from where you were to where you’re at now.”

If Booker T does make the transition from the squared circle to the public office, He would make only one of 3 wrestlers to come out of the business and pursue politics and succeed.

Do you think Booker T would make a good politician? Let me know in the comments below!
