Zack Ryder sustained a left knee injury after the #1 contender tag team match. According to the website Ryder injured himself while attempting the “Rough Rider” at the end of the match. Fans speculated that he was injured due to the fact that he didn’t get up after the match was over. The injury is a suspected kneecap or patella injury. The last update was that Ryder was helped back to the trainers room after the match and is awaiting an MRI. WWE doctors suspect tissue damage and/or muscle tears. As of right now Zack Ryder is expected to go through a very short rehab period as long as the MRI results are positive.
