If you’ve been wondering why Enzo Amore has been confined to a wheelchair on WWE television of late, it’s not because he broke a butt cheek (although it did look nasty in photos).

No, according to the Wrestling Observer, the louder half of Enzo & Big Cass is dealing with a knee injury. According to various reports it is an MCL tear, which is usually not overly serious

It’s noted the injury was suffered on Dec. 30 in Los Angeles and he is scheduled to be reevaluated in two weeks.

That would seem to indicate we can expect him to either remain confined to a wheelchair while cutting promos or simply disappear from television while they determine the extent of the injury. Either way, the timing couldn’t be worse, considering the state of the tag team division and the fact that Royal Rumble is just a number of weeks away.

Here’s to hoping he’s fine and Enzo & Cass get back to normal sooner rather than later.
