Going into Wrestle Kingdom 11, The Bullet Club were the hottest pro wrestling faction on the planet. Between the debut of Cody, Kenny Omega cemented in the main event slot alongside Kazuchika Okada, and another FIVE matches featuring Bullet Club members, they appeared set for certain triumph inside the Tokyo Dome.

Now just 8 days later, The Bullet Club may have an empty chamber. (Just in case you were wondering, yes, the gun puns will continue). NJPW’s January 4th extravaganza saw The Bullet Club lose 5 out of their 7 scheduled bouts with only Cody and Adam Cole (BAYBAY) winning their respective match-ups.

The following night at New Years Dash was perhaps worse for the heel tandem. In retrospect, last year at New Years Dash, Kenny Omega ousted AJ Styles from the group and assumed control as the third ever leader of The Bullet Club. Fast forward a trip around the sun and the faction lost consecutive matches to Chaos and Team 2000 (a team comprised of 4 legends and a ROH comedy act). Now looking forward to New Japan’s New Beginning tour, across two absolutely stacked Pay-Per-View cards, the Bullet Club is no where to be seen.

With the return of Suzukigun and the rise of L.I.J, one has to wonder if there is room for the Bullet Club as a third heel faction in Japan. Could they turn face even? Perhaps the Bullet Club simply need to reload.
Where and when do you think the Bullet Club should return to prominence? Will they shoot back into the main event scene in Japan? ROH? Could we even see a select few pop up in WWE? Let us know in the comments below!
