The Smackdown Live Women’s division is breaking the mold for Women’s wrestling in the WWE. This week Beck Lynch will face Alexa Bliss for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. But this time the pair will face off inside a steel cage. The first of its kind for Women in the WWE. Every female Superstar on Smackdown Live has found there place on the roster. All but one… Naomi.

Naomi had been taken out of in-ring action back in May with a torn tendon in her ankle. She returned to action in  July after a short rehab period. Since premiering with her new “Glow” gimmick on Smackdown, fans believed Naomi would become the face of the division with time. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Naomi has been absent from WWE television for several weeks. Naomi is able to compete. Her recent social media posts confirm she is still participating in WWE Live events. So why is she being kept off WWE TV? Many fans suspect that she will be getting a push after the Royal Rumble. But will that push be successful? Most likely not since it is also rumored that Nikki Bella will go for the title leading up to WrestleMania.

What will Naomi be doing once she returns to WWE Programming? Should she push for the Women’s Championship? Or wait until after WrestleMania? Let us know in the comments!!
