Ever since leaving NJPW, Shinsuke Nakamura has been clinging for his rematch against Brock Lesnar.
In a recent interview with Channel Guide Magazine, Nakamura was asked about a possible Lesnar rematch in the future. He responded with:
“If I get the chance, I would be up for that.” Nakamura said “My body would need to be ready, because he is tough, ouch.”
Lesnar and Nakamura already have history, going back at least 10 years. Both men squared off for the IWGP heavyweight championship in NJPW back in 2006. The two would also end up tagging together against Riki Choshu & Akebono.
Not only have they faced off, and teamed together, but Nakamura has also trained with Lesnar to help bulk him up.
