We’ve reported in the past about the situation with Hulk Hogan on our 434 Facebook page and how Hogan and WWE parted ways after Gawker published quotes from Hogan’s sex tape that revealed racial slurs. The company removed a great deal of Hogan footage from the WWE Network after they cut times with him but have slowly been re-adding content which have pleased fans greatly.
Since then, it’s been speculated that over time, Hulk Hogan would some day make his return back to the company. It seems things are starting to improve between the two and it’s possible that WWE is testing the waters to see if now is the right time for The Hulkster to return since all the drama is behind him now and he’s still a massive Icon to the industy
Eric Bischoff and Dave Meltzer spoke on the former’s “Bischoff On Wrestling” Podcast and Hogan’s name came up during their discussion and here’s some of what the two had to say regarding Hulk Hogan
“I’m not surprised. When the WWE produced the documentary on me, when they came out to my home last summer, Hulk was a big part of that documentary. The fact that he was in the documentary suggested to me that they were probably going to, over time, reintegrate Hulk back in to the WWE content. I’m not surprised. I’m happy. I think the fans want to see that. I don’t think the fans are nearly as sensitive to some of the obvious issues as perhaps the business side of the equation is. Look, there’s a saying, “Time heals all wounds.” I believe it will.”
Do you hope to see Hulk Hogan back in the WWE ?
