While WWE continues to infiltrate the independent wrestling scene to deepen their own talent pool, there are still plenty of big names signing for indy companies.

One notable name that has just been announced to start working for Ring of Honor very soon is Ken Anderson (known to WWE fans as Mr Kennedy). The former Money in the Bank winner will debut for the company next weekend at their show in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Upon his arrival, Anderson will be facing off against ROH TV Champion Marty Scurll in what should be a really good match. The 41-year old Green Bay native follows a list of veterans to enter the company recently that includes Bubba Ray Dudley and The Hardy’s.

Since leaving WWE in 2009, Anderson has mainly worked for Impact Wrestling and held their World title. Along with that, he has recently opened a wrestling academy in Minneapolis with another former WWE star, Shawn Daivari.

Anderson is a strong worker with a great look and enough star power to bring eyes on the ROH product. His attitude is something that has always come into question, but his time since WWE he has become a father and matured as a performer.

There are plenty of very good workers in Ring of Honor that Anderson could mesh well with. A real mouth-watering clash would be one between him and Bullet Club’s Adam Cole. He’ll likely operate as a babyface to begin but could definitely be a top heel due to his brash style.

Who would you like to see Anderson face in his new home? Will we ever see him again in WWE?
