As part of the Superstar Shake-Up, Monday Night Raw became the new home to a few Smackdown Live Superstars. Those names included The Miz, Maryse, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Curt Hawkins, Alexa Bliss, Mickie James and Apollo Crews. The Shake-Up also brought the Intercontinental Championship back to The Red Brand.

Dean Ambrose won the Intercontinental Title from The Miz back in January. Since then he has feuded with Baron Corbin and Miz. Successfully defending his Championship for 4 months now. Many fans were shocked to learn that The Lunatic Fringe would be joining Monday Night Raw in the Shake-up. Even more shocked that he was bringing the IC Championship with him.

Baron Corbin was rumored to capture the IC title from Ambrose before his move to Raw. But, in a last minute decision, Ambrose brought the Intercontinental Championship to Raw. While Kevin Owens brought The United States Championship to Smackdown Live. This made sure that both shows still had a Mid-Card title following the trade.

Since his return to Monday Night Raw, Ambrose has reignited his Feud with The Miz. Attacking him several times, including last week on Miz TV. It is believed that Ambrose’s first IC title defense back on The Red Brand will be against The A Lister in the next few weeks. Where he is expected to retain. But, there may be a new challenger on the rise. One that The Lunatic Fringe is all too familiar with.

Bray Wyatt was also moved to Raw during the Shake-Up. This trade was the most shocking of all. The former leader of The Wyatt Family had accomplished much on Smackdown Live. Including capturing his first WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber. He would carry the title to WrestleMania where his former Brother Randy Orton would take him down. Capturing his 13th WWE World Championship. Bray will face The Viper one last time this Sunday at WWE Payback. This time in a House of Horrors match for the WWE Championship.

It is rumored that The Eater of Worlds won’t be successful in capturing his 2nd WWE Championship. It wouldn’t make sense to bring the WWE Championship to Raw when it already has a World Championship. Also, Orton is already set to defend his title against Jinder Mahal at Backlash. Leaving WWE officials with no choice but to have Bray lose at Payback.

Since joining The Red Brand, Wyatt has hinted at a possible feud with Finn Balor. In a video segment a few weeks ago, The Eater of Worlds confronted Balor. Saying that he is focused on The House of Horrors match, but will be keeping a close eye on Finn. Last week on Raw, Wyatt teamed up with The Miz to take on Ambrose and Chris Jericho. Since that match it’s been rumored that plans for the next few weeks are changing.

WWE officials are now developing plans for another Ambrose/Wyatt feud. This time including The Intercontinental Championship. This would be a great idea in terms of Storytelling. The first Ambrose/Wyatt feud was fantastic, going back to the days of The Shield. Their rivalry in 2104/2015 was a work of art. Seeing these two go at it again would be magnificent. Especially since the two have never fought over a singles title. This is said to be a slow burning rivalry. Possibly not even picking up speed until the weeks prior to Summerslam. But, it is in the works and it will be glorious.
