If you want to see awesome athleticism and high wrestling IQ execution, Pro Wrestling Guerilla or PWG!

No storylines, no restrictions, just wrestling! All types of fans, whether you’re just the casual WWE fan, or an indy fan, or the ‘wrestling purist’ type, you need to watch at least 1 PWG show; Pro Wrestling Guerrilla is arguably, as they claim, The Very Best Professional Wrestling in the Universe.

I was lucky enough to be able to purchase front row tickets for PWG’s event last May 19th, entitled Head Like A Cole (presumably Adam Cole’s last PWG event). I’m the one with the light blue scrubs, lol. This is indies wrestling at its finest. The show started late due to the truck transporting the ring to the venue broke down on the freeway, lol. The venue, American Legion in Reseda, CA is such an historic venue manned by Legion Larry. It can fit mere hundreds. It gets hot! It gets smelly! It gets full of sweaty men! But when the bell rings, its like no other. There are no feuds, just matchups. Watch the YouTube video above and see a preview.

Here are the results of Head Like A Cole:

Keith Lee defeated Trevor Lee via pinfall with the Spirit Bomb

Chosen Bros (Jeff Cobb & Matt Riddle) defeated Red Dragon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) when Cobb threw Fish into a GTS.

Michael Elgin defeated Shane Strickland via pinfall with the Elgin Bomb.

Sami Callihan defeated Adam Cole via pinfall by reversing a suplex attempt into a small package.

Mark Haskins vs. Lio Rush defeated Mark Haskins via pinfall after a frog splash.

PWG Tag Team Championship match: The Lucha Brothers (Rey Fenix & Penta El 0M) defeated The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) via pinfall with a double-stomp Package Piledriver combo.

PWG Championship match: Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Trent? via submission with a single leg stretch muffler.
