Four-time Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will appear in a movie adaptation of a very famous TV show, come December 2017. She’ll be joining the ranks of John Cena, The Miz, The Bella Twins, Big Show, Stacy Keibler, and Mickie James on the growing list of WWE Superstars to be part of the USA Network franchise content.
Psyche: The Movie will also cast original “Psych” cast members James Roday as Shawn Spencer, Dule Hill as Burton Guster, Timothy Omundson as Carlton Lassiter, Maggie Lawson as Juliet O’Hara, Corbin Bernsen as Henry Spencer, and Kirsten Nelson as Karen Vick. As first reported by TV Guide, The Queen will play a villainous character named Heather Rockrear.
Charlotte Flair’s role in Psych marks her official acting debut. Her character as Heather Rockrear is the badass sidekick of Zachary Levi’s villainous character: Thin White Duke. In the wrestling world, we all know that Charlotte Flair, daughter of the one and only 2-time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair (Whooo!), is one of the best heels in the WWE. She may be a babyface now, but we in The 434 definitely know that the 31-year old will kill it in her performance.
I think it is perfect that she does this side project. SmackDown Live is focusing on different Superstars in the Women’s Division right now anyway. We have Naomi as SmackDown women’s champ and Carmella as Ms. Money in the Bank. This will also be an opportunity for other women to shine in the division since Charlotte’s record breaking achievements have been evident all over 2016. It is also an investment on Charlotte’s part since one cannot be an active roster WWE Superstar forever. I wish Charlotte nothing but success and may this be the start of more movies for her.
“Psych: The Movie” debuts on USA Network this December.
