When you think about Alexa Bliss, it is hard to think that she wouldn’t have been successful inside a professional wrestling ring. Just four years after her career began, she has become one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world today and she recently credited a few of her colleagues on her success.

Bliss recently joined Sam Roberts’s podcast and talked about her upcoming in WWE. She joined NXT in 2013 and bounced around as a single’s wrestler until she joined then-NXT Tag Team Champions Wesley Blake and real-life fiance Buddy Murphy as their manager.

She talked about how the tag team along with former NXT Women’s and Raw Women’s Champion Bayley were instrumental in her building confidence both inside and outside the ring.

“I’ve had some of my best matches in NXT with Bayley, which raised my confidence in the ring because I didn’t have a whole lot of in-ring confidence because I was with Blake and Murphy. And Blake and Murphy helped me develop the actual Alexa Bliss character. I wouldn’t be the bratty person without them because I was this little, happy, glittery tutu-wearing thing and when I joined Blake and Murphy, I got to really experiment and got them to help me evolve and develop who Alexa Bliss really is. And those are definitely people who’ve helped me and influenced me the most in NXT, for sure.”

Bliss was arguably the best part about the Blake and Murphy tag team and her success is certainly enough to back that up. She was drafted to Smackdown Live last year and she won their women’s title twice in seven months before moving to Raw as part of the Superstar Shake-Up earlier this year.

Just 20 days after she made her debut on the red brand, the self-proclaimed Goddess of WWE won the Raw Women’s Championship, becoming the first two hold both titles.

Now, she is well on her way to becoming one of the greatest women’s wrestlers to ever step between the ropes of a WWE ring. Many have even compared her to Trish Stratus as she was just getting her start in WWE.

It is certainly going to be fun to see what happens with Little Miss Bliss over the coming months and to see where her current title reign takes her.
