Recently, WWE has been doing everything to save money. They have finished using pyros for entrances and cancelled the weekly show Talking Smack where fallout of Smackdown was discussed every week. These are just a few cost cutting measures to name.

It is rumored that WWE is also bringing back a weekly show to increase revenue. The show used to air every Saturday Night during the 2000s. The show which may be coming back to WWE’s weekly programming is Saturday Night’s Main Event!

The once fan favorite show is rumored to air on NBC in place of Saturday Night Live. It is not known whether it will be a brand exclusive show or not, but it is likely that the show will feature wrestlers from both RAW and Smackdown.
