CM Punk was, and still is, one of the most controversial people in the world of sports entertainment. With his abrupt departure from the WWE in 2014, no one really knew what was happening. This lead to many comments made by CM Punk against the WWE, eventually leading to a lawsuit by WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann for comments made by CM Punk on The Art of Wrestling podcast. Anytime CM Punk is interviewed, it is a big deal.
The Voice of the Voiceless, CM Punk, was interviewed by ESPN Radio in Chicago on a number of topics. One of the topics being if Punk misses professional wrestling or not.
“Not at all,” Punk said to ESPN Radio Chicago (h/t Wrestling Observer Newsletter). Punk also stated that the WWE had sent lawyers and other persons for punk reportedly “Calling them out on their BS.”
Punk was also asked about his future in the UFC. Punk said that he does want to fight again, but has not heard anything from UFC President Dana White. Punk also said that he should find out if he is fighting or not within the next month or two.
We all remember Punk’s debut in the UFC, and it was not pretty. Losing to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in 2:14 was quite an event to watch. I personally would love to see CM Punk back in the squared circle. He was one, and still is, one of my all-time favorite wrestlers. CM Punk isn’t even 40 years old yet. He still has plenty of time to get back in the game and be the megastar he once was. But with these comments, who knows if Punk will ever wrestle again.
What do you think? Do you think CM Punk will ever wrestle or fight in the UFC again? Let us know!
