Any news surrounding Brock Lesnar and the UFC is huge. His departure from the UFC and return against John Cena was incredible. Brock Lesnar is perhaps the biggest name to compete in both the UFC and the WWE. He draws big money wherever he goes, whether it be the WWE or the UFC. And this latest update could be an insane draw for the UFC.
Paul Heyman and his client, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, were reported to be at the UFC headquarters earlier this month to meet with UFC officials, via @TalkMMA on twitter.
TalkMMA also reports that may return to fighting as early as November 4th in Madison Square Garden. Lesnar is also rumored to be dropping the WWE Universal Championship at Summerslam to Roman Reigns. It is also reported that Lesnar is back in the testing pool for the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency).
This is serious news. With the potential Fatal-4-Way match at summerslam, the WWE Universal Championship picture is as foggy as ever. All 4 superstars (Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar) now have a good chance of walking out of Summerslam as Champion. Summerslam just got a whole lot more interesting.
I am now a million times more excited for Summerslam. To have the Universal Championship match be this unpredictable is incredible. Every one of the four competitors has a legitimate chance of becoming the Champion. My personal favorite in this scenario is Samoa Joe, but I honestly don’t have any complaints if any of the others guys win. Summerslam is the second-biggest event in the year for the WWE, and this news definitely makes me want to buy the Pay-per-view
What are your thoughts on Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC? Who do you think will walk out of Summerslam as Champion? Let us know!
