Alex Riley was always a heavily criticised member of the WWE roster during his time as an active wrestler and commentator.

He joined the main roster in 2010 alongside The Miz, and eventually branched off to do a whole lot of nothing until leaving the company in May last year. This included a stint in NXT, where his highlight was getting beat up by Kevin Owens.

This week, Riley was a guest on Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman’s podcast and spoke about his relationship with Vince McMahon and Triple H.

“Vince McMahon, Triple H…they were straight. They were straight shooters and I always loved when somebody would say ‘we’re just not gonna do it right now and sorry’ rather than bullsh*****g me and they never did. I heard and I kinda got the feeling that Vince was always a pretty big supporter of mine, so hey, what a rilecompliment to have and I hope I am making them very proud right now.”

Riley has now moved in to a career in acting, which is probably the best place for him.

Will we ever see A-Ry make a return to WWE? Did you enjoy any facets of his time with the company?
