John Cena On If Vince McMahon Would Bring CM Punk Back

We have not seen CM Punk on WWE Television since the 2014 Royal Rumble.

TMZ recently caught up with John Cena on the street and they asked him if he would be interested in working as a host on Live with Kelly.

Cena told them that he’s open to the idea, but he’s not waiting around for a phone call.

“I’d love to. I love working with the Today Show anytime they’ll have me on, I try to go on. They make me feel like family, they make me feel at home. I love that atmosphere, being able to just BS back and forth, I love doing that stuff. I don’t mind wearing a suit, and it’s really cool to be able to sit down in a suit on Tuesday morning, and then fly to SmackDown Live and be a WWE Superstar. Internally I really like that hustle, so, if they call I’ll answer the phone, but I’m not gonna sit by the phone.”

The conversation then turned to wrestling, and John Cena was asked if he thinks Vince McMahon would accept CM Punk back into the WWE, and Cena told TMZ that Vince will do what’s good for business.

“If I know one thing about my boss Vince McMahon, he always does what’s good for business. If it’s good for business it will work out. The name in the question doesn’t matter. If it’s good for business it will work out.”
