The Eater of World has been one of the best characters over the last few years, but it hasn’t led to many titles. Will we see the Era of Wyatt return after Summerslam?

The Era of Wyatt will probably go down as one the worst title reigns in recent memory. We aren’t talking WCW David Arquette bad, but still pretty bad. It started out great though, so it had so much promise. Bray Wyatt eliminating AJ Styles and John Cena in the Elimination Chamber, then on SmackDown defendind against both of them in a triple threat, and again came out victorious. Sadly, that was the beginning of the end for the era. He would go on to have a very lackluster reign that was wrongly and abruptly ended by (Boring) Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. What could have been…

His current feud with Finn Balor is a feud that was going to happen, sooner or later. The Demon versus The Eater of Worlds. They are two sides of the same coin. Recent wins over Seth Rollins has led many to believe that he is getting wins in order to place him in a main even title feud after Summerslam. With Reigns expected to get the title at Summerslam, even more so now that he doesn’t have to actually pin Lesnar, Bray Wyatt is a likely feud for Roman afterward. So, expect a win over The Demon at Sumemrslam, which I am totally on board for.

You see, Bray has such a huge following, he is almost one of those impossible heels. The heels that people cheer for because they remember how poorly he was treated as Husky Harris. The fans see how far he has come a character, a character that is just him turned up to a thousand. Which is the best character. Just take a look at the “fireflies” when he makes his entrance. It is a sight to behold, especially in a place such as Wrestlemania.

The biggest fear in him getting a main event push is that is just to put Roman Reigns over as he has done so many times. Perhaps though, there is something different in mind. Bray versus Joe or even Bray versus Braun are possibilities. Imagine the reaction if Braun is celebrating at the end of Summerslam and Bray Wyatt appears, fresh off of a clean Victory over Demon Balor, goosebumps…
