Ring of Honor has been a staple in professional wrestling for quite some time now. Creating many stars you see on WWE today is what Ring of Honor is known for, as well as putting on amazing shows. On October 15th, Ring of Honor is set to have its Global Wars pay-per-view in Chicago, Illinois. This event is going to be huge, and is apparently selling a ton of tickets.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ticket sales for Global Wars are some of the best sales Ring of Honor has ever seen.

One of the main reasons for these massive sales is largely part to NJPW IWGP United States Champion Kenny Omega being on the show. Expect to see one of the biggest crowds that Ring of Honor has ever seen at Global Wars.

ROHWrestling.com issued a statement recently correcting an error stating that Kenny Omega would be defending his NJPW IWGP United States championship at said event. This is the Statement:

“Ring of Honor issues a correction Tuesday Morning regarding yesterday’s announcement for the Global Wars event in Chicago.”

“It was announced in error that Kenny Omega would be defending the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. However, at this time, there is no confirmation on the US title being defended on October 15th. “

“Nonetheless, it is indeed confirmed that Kenny Omega will be competing at this event, as well as the Young Bucks, Marty Scurll, Cody, and many other stars from NJPW and ROH in what will be a very special night for Chicago. “

“Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning (8/2/17) at 10AM ET for Ringside Members and Friday morning (8/4/17) at 10AM ET for the general public.  Stay tuned to rohwrestling.com for more updates and information regarding the Global Wars tour and other great Ring of Honor events to come.”
