3. Shinsuke Nakamura – ‘The Rising Sun

This may be an insult to some fans because it is probably the most popular theme song WWE has produced in quite some time. The fans singing along will never get old, and the occasional violin accompaniments are great.

The fact that Nakamura’s big debut on the main roster was based solely on how cool his entrance is, that’s saying something. This theme is so damn good that people forget how good his NJPW theme, ‘Subconscious’, really was.

2. Brock Lesnar – ‘The Next Big Thing’

In this writer’s opinion, this may be one of the best theme songs in the history of WWE. The opening few seconds are about as iconic as you can get for a theme song that isn’t glass shattering or the words ‘If ya smell’.

The upbeat nature, the little jump and dance thing that Lesnar does on the stage – it all works. And it always has, which is why he’s used that song for his entire WWE career. It’s a testament to WWE for finding something so perfect for this incredible beast of an athlete.

1. Bobby Roode – ‘Glorious Domination’

Look, if you’re still reading this far you already know what the number one spot is. And could it really be anything else (besides maybe Nakamura)?

This Glorious character that Roode plays so well would be nothing without this standout theme. WWE again have knocked it out of the ball park with this theme song that sounds like a smash hit by Queen. The whole entrance, not just the song, is a sight to behold.

It’s a perfect fit for the character and by far the most GLORIOUS theme in WWE today.

What are some of your favourite WWE theme songs today? Do you think the music for today’s stars is better or worse than past eras?
