WWE is still in the cool-down period following what was a pretty successful Summerslam pay-per-view in August. Raw was given a month to build up Sunday’s No Mercy show and they certainly ran with what they were given. With two big time main events in place, it will be interesting to see what happens as they get ready to wrap up their 2017 slate of shows in the coming months.
For some reason, WWE felt it necessary to put a cross-brand clash between John Cena and Roman Reigns on what many would consider a B-show pay-per-view. However, if they are truly building towards Reigns headlining WrestleMania 34 against Brock Lesnar, then this match could work out.
Speaking of Brock Lesnar, he has a pretty big task at hand in the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman. In only his third title defense since winning the Universal Championship in April, Lesnar looks to sneak away with the belt and possibly go on another hiatus for the next few months. However, Strowman is hellbent on taking away the title and has looked like the Monster he should be the last month on Raw.
Those two matches are just the tip of the iceberg with a great undercard where all Raw titles are being defended. Let’s take a look at some of our predictions for this Sunday’s No Mercy!
