It looks like Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be missing tomorrow’s No Mercy PPV due to a neck injury. She is scheduled to face Alexa Bliss, with her Women’s Championship on the line.

Many reports, ranging from to Wrestling Observer are confirming that Lynch will miss the Smackdown-exclusive PPV, and she looks set to be out for a month. Reports also suggest that Becky won’t vacant the title, but probably will be part of No Mercy in a non-wrestling capacity. Her role is likely going to be similar to Randy Orton’s role at Backlash, after Orton wasn’t medically cleared to face Bray Wyatt.

This news is really disappointing since the build to the match has been very entertaining. Hopefully, the story that is told to compensate for the injury is just as interesting as the Lynch-Bliss feud has already been.

So, how are you feeling about Becky Lynch missing No Mercy? Did you enjoy the build to the Women’s Championship match?
