1. The Undertaker

There is one reason and one reason only that The Undertaker is not a Grand Slam Champion: he doesn’t need to be. From his debut at Survivor Series 1990 to his retirement(?) at WrestleMania 33, there was an aura surrounding the Deadman that did not need gold to enhance. Think about it, Taker was a seven-time World Champion. How many of those were really “memorable” reigns? The Undertaker was above any championship for most of his career. Any match with him in it instantly had that “big fight feel.” Along with his 7 World Championships, the Phenom is a one-time WWF Hardcore Champion, one-time WCW Tag Team Champion (with Kane), and six-time WWF/E Tag Team Champion (1 with Steve Austin, 1 with The Rock, 2 with Big Show, and 2 with Kane). His one mid-card Championship run with the Hardcore Title seemed a joke as Taker ran through everybody around him. Such is the essence of the Undertaker. If Taker was going to be Champ, it was going to be the biggest belt, fit for the biggest dog in the yard. Given the Undertaker’s probable retirement (despite a lack of such announcement) it’s doubtful Undertaker will return. And if he does, I doubt his sights will be set on the IC or US Championship. As the Deadman rides off into the sunset, so does this list…

How did I do? Which World Champs do you think will never win the Grand Slam? Did I leave anybody out? Sound off in the comments below!
