9. The Great Khali

The Great Khali EXPLODED onto the big screen in 2005 in a not-so-Oscar-worthy performance in the remake of The Longest Yard. Surrounded by the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kevin Nash, and Goldberg, it was no wonder Big Vince made the call to the then-soon-to-be Punjabi Playboy. Khali is a one-time World Heavyweight Champion (2007) and, even more impressively, once defeated the Undertaker by covering him WITH ONE FOOT WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! Khali was the first Indian-born performer to be signed to a WWE contract and is certainly the most successful. With the Tag Team, Intercontinental, and United States Championships all eluding him during his career thus far, it’s hard to believe Khali will ever become a Grand Slam winner. HOWEVER, he’s pretty much the most famous man in India (making him one of the most famous men in the world) so it’s not a wild thought to believe he’ll be brought back for more than a one-off appearance. A couple of chops to Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin and dual vise grips to Sheamus and Cesaro, and BAM we have the first ever Indian Grand Slam Winner. I’m on the edge of my seat with anticipation (mild sarcasm).
