205 Live has now been going for a full year as the commentators played up at the start of the show, and what an up and down year it has been. This week saw more battles between babyfaces and zo Train members as Rich Swann took on Noam Dar and Mustafa Ali & Cedric Alexander faced Tony Nese & Drew Gulak. Kalisto also had his hands full with Jack Gallagher & ultimately The Brian Kendrick.

Rich Swann defeated Noam Dar. Grade: B- The match was fairly good with Enzo at ringside and Noam striving to impress the leader of the Zo Train. Enzo was certainly the highlight here at ringside with him noticeably yelling at Dar who was selling a knee injury saying “who are you Cass can’t finish the match” …equally brutal and hilarious was the Certified G. Love him or hate him, the guy can talk.

Kalisto defeated Jack Gallagher by Disqualification. Grade: C+ Kalisto and Gallagher worked nicely together, Kalisto hit his finish and had the match one but the Brian Kendrick jumped Kalisto before he could make the cover. Kendrick and Gallagher are two of the best on 205 Live and have really fallen under the radar with his while Zo Train mess. Hopefully they can become more featured and a feud between them and Kalisto could be good.

A video package was played hyping up Hideo Itami and his arrival to 205 Live. Its hard to think that the former KENTA isn’t capable of much more than the Cruiserweight Division in WWE but in saying that, Itami has struggled to hit his strides in NXT partially due to a number of injuries.

Tony Nese & Drew Gulak defeated Cedric Alexander & Mustafa Ali. Grade: C+ Tony Nese and his entrance as well as his ab work in the corner as so underrated, as is Gulak and his PowerPoint Presentation hype; how that isn’t more over than it is I don’t understand, its actually hilarious. The main story here was that both Cedric & Ali at some point were not there for each other while looking to make a tag, there was significant tension built between the two both during the match and post-match backstage, hopefully this all leads to something big in their fatal four-way match next week on Raw.
