The first 205 Live of 2018 saw TJP return and face Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher was set to battle Hideo Itami & Cedric Alexander and Goldust teamed again against Drew Gulak & Ariya Daivari in a rematch from Monday Night Raw.

TJP defeated Akira Tozawa. Grade: C+ TJP made his return to 205 Live after around 3 months away, and it sounded like not a soul in the arena cared; however to be fair that was the case for the entire show. Remember when Tozawa was the one to dethrone Neville’s Cruiserweight Title run? A decent enough match, but it just means nothing.

Jack Gallagher vs Hideo Itami. Grade: B. Gallagher cut a good promo before the match on Itami injuring The Brian Kendrick. Gallagher is good when he shows this vicious side, and this was amplified with him using a steel pipe hidden in his umbrella. Hopefully Itami can really get going in the Cruiserweight Division soon.

Goldust & Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak & Ariya Daivari. Grade: C+ Goldust in with the Cruiserweights was fun for a one off on Raw, but what is the point of having him on 205 Live here this was just the same as what we saw on Raw basically. However Goldust will hilarious when he played out of breath after running the roes with the much faster Cruiserweights.
