Heavy Machinery pick up another tag team victory. Grade: B- Another squash match for Heavy Machinery and these are fine for the time being while the tag team division is stacked ahead of War Games. Eventually though they will need to step up to tougher competition. Heavy Machinery however remain a fun duo.

Kairi Sane defeated Billie Kay. Grade: B- A great win here for Kairi Sane ahead of NXT Takeover War Games over the notable and established Billie Kay. Kay can take this loss given she is not in the Fatal Four Way and it plays well with Peyton Royce also in the match. The Pirate Princess is just beyond good, and she hasn’t even scratched the surface of what she is capable of in WWE.

Kassius Ohno visits General Manager William Regal backstage and asks for, and is granted a match at NXT Takeover War Games against the unstoppable Lars Sullivan.

A great video package is played hyping up War Games and as always they knocked this out of the park. With the nostalgia, drama and intensity, War Games is going to be something incredibly special.

Zelina Vega and Andrade Cien Almas sit down for a quick interview where Vega talks up her client and how dominant the new Andrade has been, and the two promise to take the NXT Title away from Drew McIntyre.

Velveteen Dream defeated Cezar Bononi. Grade: B- Velveteen Dream was very aggressive in picking up another dominating win ahead of NXT Takeover War Games. He excels in this role and drew an enormous reaction from the crowd when he yelled at the female referee.

Ruby Riot gets a diagnosis on her injured ankle when Sonya Deville confronter her angry at the fact Riot didn’t tap out costing her a spot in the Women’s Title Match. This short but quick segment made all the sense in the world and was really well done.

Mercedes Martinez vs Ember Moon next week as well as Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss vs Street Profits are announced for next week. Also next week Drew McIntyre & Andrade Cien Almas will face off ahead of their NXT Championship Match at War Games.

Adam Cole vs Roderick Strong ends in Chaos. Grade: A. This was near perfect. Cole & Strong is an independent wrestling fans dream and certainly something we never thought we’d see in a WWE ring. The two men put together a great match but still left plenty in the tank for a potentially bigger showdown on a bigger stage. There were some great spots in particular a brutal backbreaker onto the turnbuckle which lead to the rest of Undisputed Era getting involved and casing the match to be thrown out. Authors of Pain came to Roderick Strong’s aid and soon Sanity made their presence felt. All hell then broke loose with a great brawl; all 9 men ended the show laid out after a superplex to the outside laid everyone out.
